MATHEMATICAL MODELING


Tkachova P.P. Computer technology of finite volume meshes synthesis in STAR-CD for aerodynamic flows modeling in the working chamber of turbo-compressor (p.5)

The computer technologies of synthesis of finite volume computing meshes for aerodynamic flows modeling in the setting parts of turbo-compressor TKR 6.1 by means of program system STAR-CD are investigated. The main tasks and problems arising in the process of synthesis of different types of meshes (tetrahedral, hexahedral, hybrid, classified etc.) based on mesh generator Pro*am are considered.

Minervina H.B. The computer modeling of aerodynamic flows in the turbocompressor camera with usage of program system STAR-CD (p.15)

The possibilities to use the program system STAR-CD for computer modeling of aerodynamic processes in the setting parts of machine-building constructions (in particular, in turbo-compressor camera) have been investigated. The results obtained have been used to improve the construction of turbo-compressors. The paper shows that contemporary computer technologies for modeling the aerodynamic flows allow to reduce the periods of design, development and implementation of new turbo-compressors in the industry.

Bachenkov V.F Modeling the transfer function of digital magnetic recording path (p.25)

The transfer function model of digital magnetic recording path as a linear combination of Gauss curve and Lorentzian is discussed. Approximation of experimental transfer function is treated as separable nonlinear task of least squares method. The transformations of transfer function model parameters are suggested to provide the unimodal structure of approximation criterion. The structure of approximation criterion was investigated with computing experiment depending on SNR in the path. The results of experimental transfer function parameters identification are given.

Toropov N.R. A parallel tautology DNF checking (p.35)

One basic logic-combinatorial task - tautology checking a disjunctive normal form (DNF) is discussed. Two algorithms for parallel tautology DNF checking by multi-processor systems are suggested. The results of experimental investigation of the suggested algorithms on supercomputers family SKIF testify the efficiency of the parallel calculations for solving this basic logic-combinatorial task.

Sadnikov D.V. Improvement of the tabulared method of decomposition of completely specified boolean functions system (p.43)

A method of solving the problem of consecutive decomposition of completely specified boolean functions system is proposed. It is a further development of decomposition method under the reduced compact table. This method is less labour-consuming and, according to the experimental results, better in run time.

Barkalov A.A., Bukowiec A.F. The synthesis of microprogram automat with multysets of microoperations (p.54)

The method of hardware optimization in the logic circuit of Mealy FSM is proposed. Method is based on the matching of different codes with the equal sets of microoperations in the different subtables of direct structural table. An example of application of proposed method is given.

Rolich O.Ch., Sadov V.S., Shestakov K.M., Chernyavskii A.F. Algorithm of approximate numeric discrete Fourier transform (p.62)

Algorithm of numeric direct discrete Fourier transform (DFT) is described. The Fourier transform is based on sequence of discrete cosine transforms and on basic harmonic function approximation by sign alternate power sum with base 2. Accuracy of the DFT algorithm is defined only by basic function approximation error. The fact of precise restoration of original numeric signal by using approximate data of its DFT-image is proved.

Goman M.A., Zalesky B.A. Recognition of image objects based on their averaged projections (p.71)

Two methods for recognition of 2D-images are presented. Both are based on comparison of so-called averaged projections of object pictures. The algorithms allow the fast estimating similarity of objects images, including partly observable ones. This advantage can be used to recognize moving objects in video sequences as well as to search the images in databases. The broken line approximation of the averaged projections functions in uniform metric is exploited to speed up the similarity measurement. The broken lines are compared by means of combinatorial method of finding subsequence of the maximum length in number a sequence. It provides the considerable reduction of the number of required for recognition operations.

The technique and results of experiment on detection and recognition of object classes on multispectral remote sensing images are proposed. Object contour (its vector representation in polar coordinate system) is used as one of the features for object identification.

Selyaninov M.Yu., Chernyavsky Yu.A. Segmentation of dactiloscopic images in automatized information systems (p.86)

A composite method of segmentation of fingerprint images is considered. The feature of a proposed method consists in the joint analysis of gradient characteristics and directional field of the papillary lines flow of input dactyloscopic image. The designed method of segmentation was tested for a large number of fingerprint images from different sources and has shown the high performance and stability.

Kovalev V.A., Khoruzhik S.A., Mikhailov A.N. Studying the efficiency of intensity information for discriminating atelectasis and cancer tumour regions in the computed tomography images of lung (p.93)

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the potential usefulness of the intensity information of lung CT images for discriminating atelectasis and cancer tumour regions, which are known to be hardly distinguishable in visual examination. Results of the statistical assessment of the significance of intensity differences as well as the classification accuracy, achieved with the help of hierarchical clustering, support vector machines, and random forests methods, are reported. It was demonstrated that the usefulness of the intensity information varies from patient to patient and depends mostly upon the voxel sample size.

Lipnitski S.F. Semantic text analysis on the basis of situation-syntagmatic network (p.102)

A situation-syntagmatic network model of knowledge base of the information system is proposed. Syntactic trees of informative syntagmatic structures as well as semantic and situation ties are elements of the model. Algorithms of semantic analysis by means of the model are developed. Semantic analysis means constructing the self-descriptiveness route of text document and its semantic track in the network.

The paper presents a structural scheme of data-flow computing system. The reliability indices of data-flow computing system were justified. The formulas to calculate the reliability indices were obtained. An example of reliability calculation of special model of data-flow computing systems is adduced.

A new object-oriented architecture of hierarchic corporate intelligence systems based on www-solutions is proposed.

Poljakov A.S., Samsonov V.E. Problems of practical application in Belarus of the electronic documents and electronic digital signature (p.126)

The questions of electronic documents and digital signature use were examined. Some weakness of current legislation, which make the obstacles for widespread application of electronic documents are discussed.
